In the MA1, I did not really have any trouble deciding my topic, but I did have some trouble deciding which direction to go towards. At first, I wanted to create a more technical paper that goes over algorithms and privacy policies, diving deep into all the little details that people like me, who are into tech, usually care about. However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that the people who are being affected the most are not tech geeks like me who know what is going on behind the scenes, but the everyday person who may not even realize what is happening. So, I decided to switch my approach and move away from the heavy technical writing and instead create something that a much more broad audience could understand and relate to. I think this way, the message will actually reach the people who need it most.
