Major Assignment 3 Reflection:This paper was by far the most difficult one for me when it came to gathering evidence, compiling all of that information, and then trying to create a meaningful message that I believe could actually impact people’s ideas about the status quo. I wanted it to be something more than just a research project — I wanted it to make people think. Interestingly enough, right after I finished writing this paper, it was announced that a federal judge ruled Google’s ad service is a monopoly. While the full implications of that ruling haven’t been disclosed yet, it feels like a massive moment and honestly one that I have been waiting for a long time. It kind of validated everything I had been thinking and writing about. This paper genuinely made me happy because I got to dive into a topic that I believe is super important, especially as we move deeper into this digital age.
